006-01 Apple | Think Different

1997 was a time when Steve Jobs returned to put a fallen-from-grace Apple back on tracks.

1997 was Apple’s emotional celebration of influential creativity. A collection of unconventional figures admired for their visionary achievements in their respective fields : Muhammad Ali, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Amelia Earhart, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Jim Henson, Alfred Hitchcock, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Pablo Picasso, Jerry Seinfeld, Ted Turner and Frank Lloyd Wright.

1997 was Allen Olivo – former Apple’s Worldwide marketing communications senior director, today at Yahoo! – explaining his company’s motto : “we make computers for those creative people who believe that one person can change the world”.

1997 was the rebirth of one of the most inspiring – and grammar-defying - brand signature ever imagined.

1997 was Apple’s second 1984.
